Jungle Jim's

If you have not been to Jungle Jim's, you have not lived. I am so serious. It is the best place ever. If you don't know, it's a ginormous grocery store in Fairfield Ohio, but it is not JUST a grocery store! It is THE ULTIMATE grocery store with anything and everything you could possibly imagine (food wise). 

I went with my cousin Sarah who is in town from Delewhere?, her "boyfriend" Ben, her friend Gillian, and my brother Dom. We bought LOTS of stuff (well I don't have the much money so I didn't get that much, but the others did :)) We rode in Ben's dad's company car which is an Infinity. That was also fun :) 


So... about the food... I at a LOT!! Mostly samples and such. I don't even know where to start! I wrote down all of the stuff that everyone bought :) I guess I could start there.We all chowed down on this stuff.


1. Mozzarella, basil, and garlic in olive oil (probably the best thing we had! Yummm)
2. Italian bread (eaten with olive oil from mozzarella and fresh cracked prepper! One of my favorite foods in the world!!)
3. Pepperoni and Mozzarella rolled - Though this was bought packaged, they actually have a mozzarella station where you can get things like this hand rolled to your liking :)
4. Bremner cracked wheat crackers
5. Scottish Cheddar cheese - so good! Gillian is from Scotland! So we wanted to get something Scottish!
6. Fennel Taralli
7. Italian dry salami
8. Kettle Brand Jalepeno Potato Chips
9. English Smiley Face Cheese
10. Lindt 90% Cocoa - GROSS!!! Tasted like cocoa powder.
11. Toblerone chocolate 
12. Kinder Chocolate - had a really happy German kid on the front :) Love it.

26. SILLY BANDZ - sea animals and dinos! IN THE SAME PACK! And they are multicolored! woah! Also, I got a fruit pack and a ROCKER pack! The rocker pack is so cool!

Silly Bandz

Are you up on the newest FAD? That's right Silly Bandz are IT. They are colorful rubber bands that take the form of animals until you wear them as a bracelet and they just look like weird, squiggly rubber bands. And that's the beauty of it! Because someone says "Hey, what's that weird squiggly thing on your wrist?" and you're like "Oh! Let me show you ... it's a DINOSAUR!!" Yeah that's right! These things really are fantastic. I usually keep around 2 or 3 on my wrist so I can spread them wherever I go. I say "Hey wanna see something cool?" Then I rave about my dinosaur silly band and share one with someone else so they too can spread the fad. It's quite a fantastic system.

I personally am a fan of the dinosaur silly bandz, though they come in many varieties including SEA CREATURES which I have yet to encounter, but I'm pretty excited about them :)

I first encountered silly bandz when I went back to my high school for the first time since going off to college. A few of my friends were uber excited about this new fad that was going around the high school. All I could say was "why wasn't this a fad LAST year when I was here???" I couldn't believe it! They were just so awesome! So my friend Brendan sent me a pack of dinos in the mail after he came and visited UC :) He'll  want credit for this one fo sho. They were an instant hit in the dorm and all over campus! I've been trying to spread them around as well as I can! I even ordered more online. The bandz are definitely spreading! Oh happy day!

I really like the Western ones! I don't really know why there are Western ones... and last one there is the "basic pack." Haha who decided on those shapes for basics? I'm thinking I might get the basic pack and the rock star pack so I can use the dollar sign, possibly the girl figure, and any combination of the rocker bandz to represent my girl Ke$ha. Oh which reminds me of a video I saw of her recently. Pure talent let me tell you!
